The Connected Generation.

Generation X got the cool name.

Generation 'Y' obviously didnt and was caught inbetween like a middle child.

So what defines you guys?

Your generation, for the first time ever, thought for themselves. You let adults show you a path and provide guidance yet you've learned the most on your own.

Your generation has friends they have never met, you talk on a daily basis to people on the other side of the world. You read about their lives and you share your life with them. The games you play, your technology, your friends - they are all on a global scale.

Your generation cares less about politics and geographical boundaries. The reasons are obvious.

Common sense is becoming an American Value again. Your generation doesnt need to be handled with kid gloves with ridiculous political correctness and sensitivity.

Feminism has evolved. Women get equal pay for equal performance but being a sex object, a wife, and a mother are just as important to them.

Men are finding their way to manhood again. It is acceptable again for boys to fight. There is a war that forges strength in a generation. It is their friends from high school serving and most if not all know someone who served overseas in harms way. Many of you only know growing up with a country at war. [incredible!]

Sharing. Your generation shares everything. Information, jokes, news, pleas for help, warnings, missing people, stories of encouragement, photos that make you smile. Anything of human interest goes global within weeks connecting all of the modern world - starting with your generation. You guys find it, share it, and by the time the powers to be have figured out what the hell you are LOL'ing at; you've already moved on to the next viral video.

Green. Your generation is the generation that will go green. You understand the value and connection between man and the planet. That said the gap between rural and urban life will probably expand.

Gay Rights. Your generation does not give two shits about a person's sexuality.

Media. Your generation enjoys the media but does not take it too seriously. (Sadly it is your parents watching Oprah and worrying about Bradgelina). Despite all the complaints of how celebrity fame and pop star success are out of control right now; you guys understand how frivolous the media is and enjoy the circus anyway.
