I dont think people realize just how much work Bloodhounds really are.

Literally as I write this Dawn is outside eating a frozen dead bird that she sniffed up in the woods. That is of course after she tried to come in the house with it. At least this time it is winter. In the fall when we keep the doors open she came running into the house with the neighbors lifeless cat dangling from her proud jaws.

And now Dusk is howling because he wants outside to see what his sister is eating.

This is my day. Everyday. As my wife says, 'I just dont want to know what they are going to get into tomorrow'. Each day there is at least one new major unseen event. Yesterday it was eating my wife's vibrator in the morning and taking dinner off the counter right in front of us at night.

You know what... I give up. There is too much to write about on this topic and I am not ambitious enough.
I just had to grab a dead bird out of Dawn's mouth. Throw it in the woods past their electric fence. Now they are roughhousing hard in the house while at the same time Dusk grabbed my carmex. Another game of his. Take my carmex and destroy it.

I knew all this before getting into them. But still... wow! They are nothing more then a walking living support system for their nose. And all their nose wants is to find food.

K. enough talking. Pics.

Now here is Dusk with the THIRD hat he has taken this morning. He knows he isnt suppose to have them, We take it from him. He looks at us. Then walks back over to the hat and glove basket and grabs another hat. Hats and socks. Especially socks!! They have the strongest scent so of course that is what they like the most. Follow that with gloves, underwear, sex toys. The more smell the better.

I cant think of a band whose music has touched me more then Depeche Mode. Their music just affects me.

There are other bands whose music has meant a lot to me or who I feel. The Cure would be the next obvious choice because of their music and longevity. But DM always effects me more. After that I would add Joy Division and Afghan Whigs. And The The. But none of these bands really went beyond a couple albums of significance.
Music use to be something of importance to me. Part of what defined me even. I remember loving music. Sadly, I'm just not that into it anymore. I mean I like music but it isnt the same. I dont have the energy for the passion for it. I am unsure if it is a casualty of age or war.

The stickers on the back of my truck window. Notice the top one skull

Oh. And I'm out of weed. Damn the man.
