agh.. tired! need to crash in a half hr or so, got another maintanance tomorrow morning (thank me later cable users)..
just ordered up another half gig CF card, a dvd+rw drive, a dvdrom drive, a usb card reader (reads nearly everything.. and i can use that instead of the cam to dump pics, thus a> save battery, b> keep shooting while dumping pics), a freebie dvd-r, a 50 pack of dvd+rs... so now I can clean off my laptop + workstation @ home of pics (thinking 3 copies of each disc, 4.7 gigs is alot of photos to loose at one shot!!!)..
other day ordered a battery+charger for cam (including car charger, woot!)..
now need battery grip for cam, and perhaps an ac/dc converter so I could power laptop... aka charge it / keep it powered while dumping photos via the usb card reader I just bought.. and while perhaps another battery is charging in the car charger..
I'll be a very very "remote shoot" friendly machine by then!!

i am planning to dump both my 1gig cards for 512s for that reason.

get a firewire card reader or USB2...i have an USB and it takes forever to dump images.
heh, my wife is from tampa - i was gonna propose on stage to her with type o negative at guavaween a couple years back. ended up doing it at the Dali museum in clearwater.
