got out this weekend after evil week. forced myself to go check out photo show that SchumacherPhoto told me about. Kinda pissed me off honestly.. had played a few times w/ holga w/ no enjoyable results, and i show up to a show w/ a bunch of prints from this little 6 yr old girl who's holga pics were gorgeous. Like I told Chris, damn those people with natural talent who don't have to work at it!! Makes me wanna buy some decent camera for that girl, though film + devel is a bunch..
Work was.. eh. This week will suck, but will get done eventually. Then I will sit on my butt and do as little as possible for a while!
Took some photos after the thing Chris told me about saturday, some were nice, the ones I thought had pure "artfag" potential (again, apologies to anyone who takes offense to that phrase.. it's meant to mock me, not anyone else).. sadly weren't exactly in focus when I examined 'em close.... but might go try to re-do them.. the parking deck'll still be there!
And an official fuck you to the guy begging for cash, who I gave a few bucks to, who informed me it wasn't enough. Fuck you. I will continue to help people that I think are legit, no matter how many assholes like you I run into, because if you're doing what you say, then I'm helpign you, and I'm doing something good. If you're a lazy asshole or some shithead who's just buying booze with it, I'm still trying to help people. Sorry, I gave you about 1/3rd of the cash i had on me, money I earned with a real job that I work way too much at.. one that I got through hard work and experience.. and no experience had landed me in federal prison, like yours did, assface!
