WHEEEEEEEEEEE! Okay, it's monday. Feels like
sunday since I'm not working and my two roommates
are off (still sleeping) and we're planning a possible
trek to the aquarium downtown.. never been, figure good
photo potential.. except for all that damned glass! Oh
well.
Met w/ the new co-workers friday and picked up an assload
of reading material. Folks, please appreciate your digital
cable. It's kinda complex stuff.. and not at the same time.
got a camera for roommate chris.. told him early birthday.
got another of the fed-5c's, his was actually cooler
though it's just black.. it was a> new, b> in original
box, c> original manual in all russian including the
registration forms w/ hand written serial o nit, waiting
to be submitted, d> $5 cheaper than mine, e>.. shipping
from NYC so it got here quick as hell. It was damned
cool to see him psyched about it. It's a cheap fucking
cam but it was cool to see him as joyed over the
heavy piece of crap as I am. Who needs beamers
when ya got cheap ass rooskee cams?
Not much to report past that. Pics I took thursday
(my first day off) were.. CRAP! ALL CRAP! I was
smoking crack or something, all framed badly..
which sucked more because I could see my original
intention, the focus perfect, coloring+light fine, but
each were a tiny to the left or right. Lots of near
great shots == crap, period. Had a few from a previous
couple days, one of my bro that was nice, one of
my dad who was in town for dinner w/ myself+sis
that was great.. then of course my sister's shot
which woulda been great but she never shuts her
f'in mouth when she's around my folks, so I tried
to capture her w/ mouth shut, got it a split second
late and the gaping maw was opening again so she
looks like she's got a protruding lower jaw, sling-blade
style... woulda been great too. color + focus + framing
great, and she's a great looking lady... OH WELL.
but that's about it. probably will continue to take
shots and drink too much the next few days before
new job starts wednesday. yay!
