suckyy. just found out some prints i'd ordered up, i
botched up.. but i can always send 'em back if htey
look like crap. i didn't unclick the auto zoom+trim option
ofoto has.. which is nice enough, but that could screw
up boarders and the like, and a few of the shots i sent
in from neg scans that show parts of the negatives, which
gives a cool effect. sucks that a few of these were
going to friends who actually want to HANG them in
their homes! hope they aren't bollocked up too bad,
don't wanna re-order until I see 'em.... least the main
couple should be fine....
got some polaroid peel apart film on the way, figured
photo fun while on my days off so that'll be some,
plus more time w/ the fed. realized when looking at
some more shots that mine does have the problem
of a badly cut felt liner around where the shutter
curtain thingie is, which bleeds into the frames
lightly.... debating if i want to fix it or not.. i like
the effect of the camera, it's like a holga but a
hell of alot more dependable and reliable. the
fact that it's like 3 lbs of metal and i tend to wander
around down town taking photos doesn't hurt
either.
but that's that. wednesday is my lsat day. trying to
get motivated but failing. get this -- they're hiring one
of my old bosses back that they'd FIRED before.
he gave 85% of his work to me or another person
who worked for him, then claimed credit for it all.
not to mention they're offering him 17k more than
I was making and a 5k "signing bonus".
ain't that a peach?
oh well. my dad's in town tonight, he's bringing beer
which rocks, plus a few benches and a printer for
me... it's like christmas early. should e cool need to
clean the joint up some first........

Sure it sucks that the sleezy boss got hired back, but look at it this way...you are a man jumpin off a sinking ship and into the water swimming towards a ship that actually doesn't have holes in the hull for a change.
