Well it's nice to know that I am not the only fan of Russian cameras on here as well. That's a fucking hoot to know!
I just sold my Zorki 6 on Ebay about a month ago. I just have too many cameras to use them all so I have been selling a few. I still had a FED 2, a Zorki 1 and a Zorki C. Russian cameras are just too cool to me. I love the old Leica copies. Tons of fun to use too. Let me know how that 5B works out for you. I have been eyeing them on Ebay for some time now.

Lemme know when you get settled in and we can go do luch one weekend or something.

That is a well deserved rant my man. I Hate moving and I know how stressful it is, especially when you are prepared and your buddies arent.

Yeah you are definitely right, packing up the cameras (especially the Holga) is the best thing to do when there are priorities that have to be handled. I would be waaay too tempted to play with them if they were at hand. Just think of all the fun urban shooting you'll be able to do now. :o)

It's pretty cool how I met them. I was just messing around one night on Google. I kept googling for punk bands from the obscure countries. Searches for like "punk latvia" and "punk uzbekistan". I got quite a few hits from some amazingly obscure countries. I hit Ra Ko Ris when I googled "punk nepal". Whenever I found a band I would shoot them an email and Ra Ko Ris was one of the few that replied. We've been emailing back and forth for the past couple of years and they've sent me their releases everytime they put something out. The songs on the 7" are from the two releases; one a CDR and the other a cassette.
In return I sent them a massive amount of punk on CD. I have around 100 gigs of MP3s on my computer and I sent them about 25 CDs worth burned in raw MP3 format. If they were to take the MP3s and burn them to CD format it would take a little over 80 CDs to fit them all. They've been burning and distributing those CDs to punks all over Nepal, India, and Malaysia.
They've really wanted to get something released in the U.S. and I figured I could do it. I have the contacts to get it done right and I have the money to finance it so why not?

Man i wish i could.. but i'm going home (where i grew) for family reasons. I lived in Jax until I was 18 then left, I've also lived in Orlando but Mainly i've lived in Mass.. I love the people hate the place.. See you around..
