I had my alternator belt replaced for the fourth time. The mechanic says the engine and the power steering pump are crooked, so the belt rubs, which is why I have replaced four belts in eight months. Time to get a new car, it seems. At least the timing is good, since school is out and next month I will be working all month for the national guard, so I will not need my car. It will work as long as I replace the belts or recharge the battery, but it's a waste of money to keep it running that way.
I have a couple weeks of nothing to do. I suppose I should spend some time writing, get some exercise, and try to learn something.
