Hello SG! It has been a couple of months since my last blog, but I swear I have a good excuse. Early last month, I made a pretty big decision to end my marriage. I will spare the details as my ex-partner also frequents SG, but we intend to remain friends and this is thankfully working out so far. We've both supported each other through it all. Hardest thing I've had to do in my life, without a doubt. Anyway, everything has been very hectic and I'm trying to return to some sort of normalcy but I doubt that's going to happen until the new year. My social calendar has been off-tap.
I'll keep this brief as it's intended to be more of an explanation of my absence than anything else, but I hope to spend more time on here speaking to you lovely folks. No need to drop me any sympathy messages as I don't feel it's necessary - I'm not the only person who has ever had a failed marriage, I'm a big girl and I'm getting on with the next chapter!
