A-hoi hoi! It's been a couple of weeks, so here's what's happening in my little corner of the universe.

I recently had a job interview. I nailed it but had to wait a few weeks for a final answer due to some HR stuff. However, I got the phone call I'd been waiting for a little over a week ago (while I was on holiday interstate) and quit my current job. Only 3 more weeks to go until I start the new gig. So ridiculously stoked.

My holidays are over, but they were great. Had a fantastic birthday and spent a good part of my 2 week break drunk - whoops. Spent a week in Queensland visiting my family and friends, caught up with someone who I haven't seen in over 5 years which was really exciting. Lucky to have fabulous weather for most of the time too. Finished off my break by seeing Karnivool live, which was just phenomenal. I love those guys, and it certainly won't be the last time seeing them.

Back to work last week but it wasn't terribly painful as I know I'm only there for the next few weeks. Aaaand I may or may not have called in sick today, muahaha.

Anywho, photo time. I have a tonne to share, so prepare for bombardment!

Also, I've been getting much more interested in photography lately. My husband is a photographer (and a fantastic one at that), and uses some really good gear. He's very into the technical side of it, knowing all of the different camera settings and whatnot. I'm nowhere near that stage, but I'd like to get into it a bit more. I really enjoy portraiture, although that's not extended much further than self-portraiture at the moment (and most of those shots just come across as vain selfies, but whatever).
