So, dead laptop meant very limited SG (and internet access in general) but all fixed now! OK quick summary of what has been happening:
- Started my new job. It's great, really enjoying it! Downside #1: Won't get paid til 15 August. Upside #1: I'm gonna be rich as a mofo when I get that first pay! Downside #2: LONG commute. 1.5 hours each way. Upside #2: This gives me time to do things like read books, snooze, listen to music, sew buttons back onto my jackets. I even learned some French. Plus I go across the Sydney Harbour Bridge twice every day. I think that's pretty cool.
- Went to QLD the weekend before last. It was a whirlwind visit, got to see my family, friends, cats. My little sister is the best host ever - she had a fridge full of beer when we arrived. We played Pennycan for about 2 hours the first night we were there. Ah such fun. Also went fishing with my Dad in the sunshine on the Monday while everyone else was working.
- It was my 25th birthday on Tuesday (and hubby's birthday too!). Didn't do much for it, however I got my ultimate dream present: the Derwent box of 120 artists pencils:

And Nick made a delicious coconut curry for dinner (slow cooked - yummmm)!
That's all I can think of. I have some catching up to do - oh how many sets I have missed!
