Yeah, It's Monday! Hip, hip, hooray! It's my favorite day of the week.

I'm trying to fool myself into believe that I am not tired, I love my job and I love Mondays. It's not working.

It was one big crazy mishap weekend for me, I hope everyone else's was better and definitely more exciting.

And remember, Monday's rule! smile

Actually somewhere close to The City (the one and only).

I had a gf who lived in HI while I lived in NJ. We had a hell of a hot time together anyway. 6 hr time difference and all. Then we eventually moved to PHX together and spent a grand total of 10 yr being mind-melded. The end of that really sucked but that's another story. Maybe you have one of those stories too.

I was going to say "next time you're out here and not busy with 'lover'" but that's just fucking stupid. I mean, it's a long goddamn way and personally it would be all about the sex for me, except for the Japanese food.

Meanwhile, I would love to meet up with you three insane people the next time I visit my friend in Reston. At the least I could get drunk and take a couple of stupid photos.

My family consists of a bunch of hysterical jokesters. That's right kids, my mom really did leave that comment in my journal yesterday. It was all in good fun, her eyes haven't melted, and I'm not ashamed to show my face.

Songs you should not listen to when driving by yourself:
Anything by Kenny G
Unchained Melody
The country station
Roxette

Good songs on the...

It's 1AM and I think I'll still be at work until 3 or 4 or so.

"I want the frim fram sauce with the oss and fay with shifalfa on the side."

I'm going to talk in song lyrics today. It makes things interesting. How many people can I drive crazy today?

I don't have anything exciting to say today. It's Thursday, tomorrow I head to DC for laceyglove's birthday. I...

I hate dealing with my hair when it's really clean. It really needs a day or three of oil so that it's not an unfortunate experiment in frizz.

I am a loose curls person and in theory I should wash with water and a tiny amount of conditioner. But it seems that whereever my hair goes, hard water follows and humidity isn't far behind. frown

"Beer, steers and queers" Soundtrack for the day provided by The Revolting Cocks. Reach into your inner industrial soul and embrace the pulsating rhythms. I choreographed an exotic dance the whole ride to work.

Must make self work today. Property tours, rent checks and complaining residents. Very busy day. "Vinyle is not in at the moment, leave your comment in the box and I'll respond...

Today I feel like life is a big juicy peach and I want to take a huge bite and let the juices run down my chin. This thought is accompanied by the sounds of Man or AstroMan.

I finallly got the closure I needed yesterday on a situation that has caused me a lot of pain in the past year. Yesterday was the culmination. A...

Well if you don't believe me that I was in West Virginia in a coal mining ghost town then here is more proof:

There you go. My nephews always like to see my train pictures. Was in West Virginia to go rafting with a bunch of friends. It was fun. There is a lot to this story so I will save it for another day.

"I got the blues, but the blues aint' got me" Who sang that? That line is so pure and true.

I don't normally update on the weekends, but I'm almost caught up on my life for the night.

I took my son to see Shark boy and Lava girl today. It was his first 3D movie and I wish I had a picture of his...

this is all I have to say about star wars-when my sister was being born, my grandfather took me to see Star Wars because everyone else was at the hospital all night. I literally have no memory of my sister being born, but I remember seeing star wars.

typical.

when I recieved my first communion our priest, father pat, told is to pray for whatever we wanted most that day. I'm sure the other kids prayed for their families or for starving kids somewhere.

I prayed to get a Han Solo action figure that day.

I'm in a good mood for such a rainy dreary day. I walked 2 blocks to my car this morning in the drizzle and it was actually almost pleasant. The seductive sounds of Buena Vista Social Club accompanied me on ride in this morning. I wish I had a dance floor in my car, but then again how would I drive?

It's Friday. I'm glad....

Oh trust me, I know all about being fat. When I was in high school I was 270 pounds. I lost 100 pounds in college and basically kept it off since, but I've had moments of relapse.

I kinda like chunky peanut butter, but either kind will do. I literally have peanut butter and jelly every day. Like I'm 6.

I just notced that I'm gonna be away for your birthday. That makes me sad.

As for next weekend-if you're still up for it anyway: I think I told you that I have a birthday party up here on Saturday night that I have to go to. Like I said, you're welccome to come. Most of the Sopranos cast should be there. But I understand if you don't want to make the trip. Otherwise I'd love to come down and take you out to dinner on Sunday. That's my plan, anyway.

Ugh, property tours day number 2. At least it's a little cooler today. I guess I really have to do work today. I"m having a hard time staying focused lately. My assistant is getting married next month and I spend my days procrastinating and listening to her go on and on about the wedding. I'm happy for her, but I'm tired of listening to the...

KikiBH sounds like a good faux sister.

I'm disappointed that the pictures didn't come out, but that's so par for the course with the day I had yesterday that it was to be expected, I guess.

I love Moonlight Serenade. It's a great song, isn;t it? It reminds me of my grandmother's house. My sister and I used to spend our summers at our grandparent's house in a little town called Budd Lake, NJ. It was the kind of place where we did nothing but listen to the crickets at night. It was great.

Anyway, my grandmother used to listen to a show called "The Make Believe Ballroom" which used to play all the big band stuff, and "Moonlight Serenade" was a staple of that show.

So that song reminds me of long summer nights and fireflys and crickets. I miss those nights.

No Descendents songs today. I'm in NPR mode today, attempting to broaden my horizons and get my fill of the wonderful world of talk radio and news. A couple of years ago I was addicted to G. Gordon Liddy, Neil Boortz, and Bill O'Reilly. Eventually hearing the same commentary on the same sad world events made me so sad I had to go back to...

"It doesn't even matter if I live or die, the only think that matters is your by my side. No turning back. Did I ever tell you how much I love to hold you? Didn't know they came like that" They have the best lyrics. Future man of mine - please sing the...

good morning. still no e-mail. your computers clearly hate me. oh well.

I love that you're Amish-or at least post-Amish. I've always kinda been fascinated with that lifestyle-probably because I don't live it. I think I'd need AC and refrigerators. The computer is nice too. Besides that I think I could be Amish.

How was your night? Any happy thoughts you wanna share?

Whatcha doing today?
