I feel it might be worth updating. Though frankly I'm in a bit of a hurry. biggrin

* I'm going to do a proper full hypnotherapy session this week, and another two next week. Whoop!

* I am now officially homeless. Though I'm still squatting in what used to contractually be my house.

* For what it's worth, and that's almost certainly not much, I've been...

Twirls tend to make up a large portion of my diet normally - either for breakfast, mid-morning snack, mid-afternoon snack, post-work snack, post-post-work activity snack or all of the above. Plus perhaps the odd Twirl because, you know, I happen to be extra hungry that day..... oink

My hypnotherapy course has begun. We've done business planning and marketing, and EmoTrance, which is not an innovative new genre of music, but a mispelling of Emotional Transformation.

It is very exciting. Our training takes place on a Saturday and Sunday, and the schedule involves 5 hours of workshops interspersed with a total of 3 hours spend consuming tea and biscuits or at the pub...

At last, I'm sending off the cheque for 1,800 that pays for my hypnotherapy course. I've been waiting for the funds to clear into MY account first, from my granbelina's legacy. I feel as comparitively light as though I'm clearing a debt. Which technically, I am, since it's nearly a month since these course fees were due.

Sibling carmady and I were wondering what my...

Got an essay to write. Can't concentrate for shit. Anything good on the boards here?

I still got no stories of my own, so let me share one that my housemate just told me. She: In a nightclub on Broad Street. He: comes over and says, "hey. There's a party in my pants tonight, and you're invited." She: points a finger and says, "you're disgusting."...

Aye, this in part due to Maia = love love love biggrin

Topic is a critical evaluation of this article called 'Families with Children with Disabilities.' Quite a clunking title, no?

Yup. Has MCS directly equipped you with the skills for this 'un, or is it both new & clunky?

Is your 1st DipHyp session coming up soon?

Well, I feel like quite a stranger to the SG community these last weeks. So here's another journal entry of no consequence at all.

* Tonight I'm going to see a mate's new flat in Coventry, and tomorrow to paint the classroom deep lilac, ready for her new teaching job in September. She's a Physics teacher, dudes!

* Clemence Poesy is playing Fleur Delacour in...

Friday night, dinner at the Hard Rock and a late showing of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I won't give you the full review because I KNOW that you are ALL GOING TO SEE IT. and anyway, I can't possibly explain to you just HOW FUNNY IT IS, even if I wanted to. Let me only say that it is very clearly the finest...

it can't be accidental that they made the outside of the chocolate factory look so like a Nazi concentration camp

Err..this didn't occur to me. Will have to watch it again (how about this weekend?!) to check. Is it not just Burtonesque Industigothal?

Still reckon Corpse Bride will give it a run for its money tongue

I've never got to Cafe Rouge, although I've wanted to try it a few times. Must remember to take a spoon with me....

Well, I left my handbag on the bus home today. eeek Fucksticks! I realise I've done this as I'm walking up my road - then decide to leg it after the bus. So I'm kicking off my shoes and sprinting barefoot along Bristol Road in my work skirt and blouse, while the strictly necessary couple of drivers toot their horns at me or say, 'steady up,...

Hey there hun, I used to go to Eddies a few years ago back when all the old rockers used to haunt the place and the pretty boys were still pretty. Havn't been in ages, planning on going back one of these weeks though. I've actually been living in Newcastle/Middlesbrough area for a good long time before I moved back to Brum.
Kewl that you got your handbag back.. the only good thing about rush hour. x

I was very excited this morning at the thought of pulling a sickie on account of a minor cold. Got up at 8.45am and rang my 18 year old supervisor at my shit agency job - rang the shit agency - was impressed by how weak and sore my voice sounded during the second phone call and wished it had been thus during the first....

Yup, is a good set - but she's not going to supplant any of my 5 fav SGs!

So we had a bit of excitement in Birmingham last night. The whole city centre had to be evacuated for fear it was going to blow up.

Here is how rumours travel, by the way: Mr Ian works with a bloke, who has a brother, who works as a gardener, who did some work on the cheap for a bloke, who said last week, "since...

VINDICE'S PLANK WATCH PART 3: This episode - PORN WATCH

I just called up a number where they're advertising for glamour models. The bloke who answers the phone spoike loike vis, sweet'art, and they're after anything from topless photos to porn movies. It goes like this:

HIM: So are you interested in the fucking on camera or are you mainly just after the topless stuff?...

Well, I guess if were going to say I had specialties, they would be in anti-stress, skin/hair/beauty, pain relief, (I know my poisons too), i could tell you a bit about Herb Lore and old practices, for eye sight i would acytally recommend carrot juice on a regualr basis, and maybe a dose of bee pollen once a day.. the vitamin A in the carrots is excellent for the eyes, and the vitamins in the bee pollen will help as well (not to mention some of the other benefits rom bee pollen- increased energy being one of them. Vitamin B helps control stress and helps energy.. and bee pollen has a lot of it. Also for energy, you might consider Ginseng tea or capsules. It is likely you will get the best benefit from the tea.
lol.. and on the devil snare.. I have never read any Harry Potter but one of the folk names for Nightshade is Devil's Herb.. It supposedly had a very wide range of different uses in magick and lore.
