Lights Out!
Preparation for Day One, I'm in bed by 11pm. Set an alarm for 6am - YES if my theory holds water then we should be able to awaken naturally with the sun and the alarm clock would be obsolete. But my body has been corrupted by years of societal poison, so to begin with I'll need a kick start. I'm leaving the curtains...

I like the sound of the chocolate bunnies dream.

I couldn't stick to what you're doing. I mean, it's much easier for me to sleep when it's dark at night and get up when it's light in the morning, but... ugh. At the moment just getting any sleep is an issue. Good luck with it smile
necros:

Intriguing thoughts and thats one bizarre show.

Well, there are apparently no original ideas left in the world, so I don't see that it invalidates your idea at all - and of course not only is The Good Life fictional, but it was also broadcast in the 70s... a lot has changed in the last 30 years.

I had the happiest afternoon yesterday. I meditated * for a while, and then I did some gardening. ** biggrin

* I found an online quiz that tells you how open each of your chakras is. I love that sort of thing, and you get your results in graph form. Take it now!

** It's all very well deciding to clear out the greenhouse so that...

What kinda mediation do you do? Are you self-taught?

I've been promising myself for a couple of years now that I'd do a transcendental mediation course, but you have to commit to 2x20min mediations per day to get the most out of it, and I'm not sure I'm disciplined enough.

Baltimore memorial - unknown; didn't see any touristy information about it & haven't found any snap-statistics to indicate what role demographics played.

Sigh, an online test with graphed results? Yeah, okay, I'm a sucker for those.

Glad the groups are still doing good for 'ya. Best of luck with the Vice Chairing (what an appropriate seat...) tongue

Mat! I loved Chris before he fucked up and got kicked out in the first heat of the finals...

I think Christopher is too inexperienced to win and I think that andy is too cocky. Mat learns and improves. To be honest though i think they're all pretty good, which is a good tihng because when i start rooting for someone i get really really wound up if they don't win tongue

How clean is your dinner?

Cuz mine was cleeean. I had a big heap of white rice, and some white fish which I steamed until it was all flaky, with some spring onions, garlic, lime juice and just a little soy, and a sprig of coriander at the end. Fuck. I'd almost say it was pornographically good, but porn is dirty and my dinner...

I keep trying to start a post and then deleting what I've written. I wanted to tell you the story of how I just went to the pub to meet Man From the Internet who's been advertising online for a Casual. Keep writing it in a really boring way though. Anyway, summary = he's married. Karma probably doesn't like that.

Keep talking; I'm around. I...

Zany weekend! I guess those of you who were there already know, and those who weren't don't care. But it was a wonderful meet; happy times. smile

I may have had to endure the longest coach journey in history, but at least I got to see interesting places. Like Harrogate. We drove through Harrogate twice because of the one-way system so the second time I had...

I fucking hate facebook news feeds, the last thing I want is an SG feed as well.
And Jesus. "Make an announcement;" like you're so important that just writing it in your journal isn't enough.

...Happy Hallows!

The news feed alerted me to your new blog post...
whatever
By the way, thanks for vouching for me on SGUK application - I didn't really understand how it all worked or I would have done some campaigning for my cause!
=)

ikaruga:
depends what the announcement is, mind...

but site issues aside, it was spectacular to see your good self again at the weekend!

Man.
So I'm supposed to be finishing off this application for the permanent version of my job. Deadline's tomorrow and I've got 3 points left on the person spec. I feel I'm approaching the point of just not bothering. Shit job anyway. wink

We have them at work for hygiene reasons--nailbrushes I mean, not bitchy boys. They make your hands look really nice.

The boys are funny with each other because Marc has Asperger's and so he says whatever comes into his head, even if he probably shouldn't, and so comes off kind of offensive. And Martin's all traditional and fights the fact that deep down, he's probably as poly as I am. They're lovely, I swear. In fact, last time they saw each other they were nicer to each other than to me.
johnnyforeigner:
Damn straight it will. Hell, may as well wait and put it on that job application wink

It'll be lovely to meet you too smile
