this past saturday, i swam the length of my pool 4 times while underwater...thats a record for me...i'd been stuck at 3.5 for years...i love the solace of being underwater...the leaving of everything behind...the lucidity of thought...the muffled sounds of the chaos you just left behind...even if just for 2 minutes....it always reminds me that it's my world...they're all just livin' in it...

i really need to get me some gills.

Believe me, my Vimian, if I'd thought for one hairsbreadth that it was you in that purple limo, the thought of you in those platforms woulda invigorated me so I would have jumped into my 6" black patents and scarlet lipstick (no bikini cluttering my bag), forgetting all weariness. But alak, it was not you!

Speaking of swimming pools, my mom told me the other day to visualize her swimming nude in a saltwater pool. This is her ultimate vision of prosperity. She's the coolest mom around.
