THE ORPHANAGE blew me away. I havent had a movie affect me like this one since the original Amityville Horror when I was a kid. Guillermo Del Toro has found a good clone. Im now a fan of every thing he is involved with. Except for the Hellboy animated movie. That was an abomination or ,on a possitive note, a pretty pile of human excrement. He is scheduled to do AT THE MOUNTAINS OF MADNESS in 2010. Lovecraft is god.

addendum: the animated movie can suck a big one. solely because i'm irrated that mignola's original work wasn't used. however, del toro was just a creative producer. they probably just tagged him on because he directed the films, and maybe his name will bring in more money. i still think he's a genius. granted, i'm overlooking the fact that he had anything to do with the animated work. and i'm probably still going to watch it. actually, i don't know. i'm really pissed off about mignola.
