Three part journal entry to follow....

Part 1.

Last day of work selling home theater systems tonight. Until today, we had sold zero for this roadshow, and then out of the blue we sold 7 systems totally about $30,000. Only one person was working today so he got all the commission for those sales...$350. The reason it pisses me off, is all the people who bought today were back for their 2nd or 3rd time...and I know I had first talked to at least two of those people before he did. He felt bad about getting all the money so after we were done striking the set-up he took us out for burgers and beers on his dime which was nice.

Part 2.

I feel it is time for me to turn my life up to 11. If you get this, you are cool.

Part 3.

"You realize that people take drugs because it's the only real personal adventure left to them in their time-constrained, law-and-order, property-lined world.
