The event tonight where I work was an all mexican concert, when I pulled into the parking garage, I was amazed at the amount of pickup trucks and sad attempts at import race cars there were.

Upon entering the building, everyone was wearing a cowboy hat, except for the girls, who weren't wearing much at all actually.

The sound system sucked, the audio engineer had no idea what he was doing, he had way too much hi-end and it was creating a ton of feedback, I would have went to talk to him and help him, but he didn't speak english.

Their stage lighting was a good setup, but the lighting effects were - off, on, off, on...wow.

So I had nothing to do, since I was the "on call" electrician, if they blew a fuse, I had to fix it, but they didn't, so once they were done, I un-hooked their power and left.

I love working on thanksgiving.
