Well, I just got back from NYC today. The trip was good but too short (went up there on Saturday), and I was totally spent when I got back to DC today. I might try to go back in August.

Myself, I'm partial to DC-9, Velvet Lounge, Black Cat Black Caaaaat, Kingpin, 9:30 club of course, occasionally Asylum (but mustly just for brunch!), Capitol Lounge (know the owners), rarely Lucky Bar (same owners!), BedRock Billiards for pool and the occasional foray into other realms...

I have a lot of free time for a few weeks. It's good, but DC can be a boring city sometimes.
However, the Reverend Horton Heat is coming on June fifth. I've seen the Rev twice before and it's always a top notch show. So that's good news.

Well the cable's out and I missed the Simpsons, which is a quick way to ruin my Sunday. It seems my Sunday plans generally revolve around cartoons, what with the Simpsons and Adult Swim. But to hell with "grown-up" TV, what with its live actors and other such nonsense. Cartoons are far more entertaining.
