The strike and troubles are over, it looks like I will be getting out of Africa on time however I was called today by someone who had learned I was in country and offered me another job. The pay is really good but I am not sure I can take another year out here. I want to do so many things and have planned to take the whole summer off. I have some art lessons I want to go to and have booked a bronze casting course which I would have to cancel if I took the job. Think I might just turn it down and head off home in a couple of weeks.

Had a good day today and feeling pleased with myself so I think I will treat myself to a cold beer or two.
