God is the TV for some people. I was shopping for clothes at Kohls (if they have them where you live) and there was two empty headed banality girls with orange skin and a vocab that contained the word "like" every other word in front of me discussing the latest season of Jersey Shore. I do not live under a rock so I am well aware of the show but people's obsession with it and reality television shocks me.
Really? You know how much these walking jokes are paid to act this way, $20,000 an episode while teachers, police officers, construction workers, etc are left holding the change. I know i'm ranting and Jersey Shore is considered enterainment but isn't there a line we have crossed when enterainment is not really enterainment, but of course the audience has the power here.
Reality Television is NOT reality, it's even someone else's reality. Everything that is on television is heavily scripted and dramatized.
In the 90's we had Jerry Springer, now we have Reality TV. It just makes me a little sick.
