im back!!!!!
ive been to coventry and survived!!!! more details in a min. i thought i would steal shamelessley from Ortus its this funny little flickr mosaic thing which i did earlier to successfully kill some time. answers on a postcard .......
so i went to coventry cos i was organising this swanky event thing for a selection of our customers. anyway i had to have a chuckle to myslef when i walked into my hotel and i was greeted with this
thats right people! a four poster bed!!! it was wicked!!!!!!!! and they so knew i was coming cos they left me some sweets out
i had a brilliant view
and the room had loads of small quirky features and stuff!!!!! i worked my arse off. i was nice to EVERYONE for 3 days and i had to smile solidly. by friday night i had jaw ache. im a cheery person but there is a limit especially when im knackered, but i guess that it part of the job. the director who i was working for was really impressed and he has given me some great feedback and told my manager how amazing i am. hopefully other directors will take notice and i can do more stuff!!!! the main events coordinator really wants me to work with her again, which is a real honour!
what else...
oh yeah it was my school reunion on saturday night. it was interesting to see how some people had or hadnt changed in 11 or so years. me and em (who i work with aswell) started drinkg at around 6.30pmand we got smashed on cocktails, and some fruity vodka stuff washed down with sambucca in smart little neon shot glasses. it was really good to catch up with everyone and see how they were doing. there was no naughty behaviour from me...... well.... maybe .... a little.... close ..... but not the whole cigar as such!
and then i randomly bumped into some guy i knew whilst waiting for a very expensive taxi ride home. it was just a all round wierd and trippy night.
this is me and em. you can tell how smashed we are just by the camera angle!
and i am back in the real world today.

ha ha! I know what shag means, over here 'hump' means the same thing. But we also use it to describe the middle of the week. I just like saying it to people to get a reaction, especially to conservatives. It's funny how people think I mean 'shag' when I say happy 'hump' day. This is how bored I sometimes get at work but it usually does prdoduce a laugh and or at least a smile from someone everytime.
