i can feel myself becoming more self aware, its great and its happening with no drugs

these are some things im noticing about art recently

I've read many quotes about what art is and what it is to draw and such. I guess this is mine:

Most paintings are made up by simple gradients great artists dont really put all the details in. Most of the time they have large flat areas of color that are very fuzzy and mix into one another and they are offset by super detailed things in the foreground or background and vice versa that give you the impression of a a detailed piece of work. And then you have values which are awesome and everypainting is dominated by either dark medium or light values. Like a Night painting in chirascurio, that is all dark with a few glints of light, rembrant was awesome when it came to stuff like that, medium is like summer days where the middle tones overpower the rest, and light is light, my fav is the dark toned ones, ugh soo much more goes here, but i must retire, it is 2:20 and i got class at 12:45 later today
