goodness, i think my cold is wearing off

today me and steave put the 'gay' into 'gamers' starting at 5 30 in the evening we rented a game called Batman, Reight of Shitzu or Reight of the Shiitzy, whatever,

we got to the last boss

.... you guessed it Shitzuuuu at 12:30

and then proceded in insane fanatical sort of fascion to defeat the last boss for the next five hours

holy shit! i havent done suhc crazy shiite since high school, it was a complete and total waste of time, and i have never been so proud to participate in something soo 'loser like' and socially worthless

yeah, so if anyone out there have any stories about how they wasted time doing silly things with friends i would totally love to hear them. i think wasting time is one of those things that connect you to the universe in one way or another

ook, so i still havent figured out how to put pictures into my journal, but anywho, i have been brainstoming a logo for the Rochester SG Upstate NY Group and after doing lots of tech like and futuristic designs i decided to go with a classic renaissance type idea with monica on the front most likely in the center like you see that goddess figure with sguny written out in very pretty decorative lettering, the background will be a map of the upstate ny area, or a small section of it thats recognizable.... ergo lake ontarious with old geographic symbols and journey lines drawn accross it similar to nineteenth century european maps of the world

for all of u gaymers out there, the travel screen of Final Fantasy Tactics is based on that nads IT ROCKS!!!

ok, back to sleeping and getting better
i completed my first water color ever tonite, you can check it out u know where it looks like a fill in the colors type of painting but its done that way because its a schematic for a shot of a wall of the first scene in the movie/game project im working on. All of those little masks and personal effects are going to be polymodeled textured and then lit. It took me a while to imagine all of the different things the protagonist was going to use and collect on her journey, and even more time deciding what colors everything was going to be so i didnt get into chirascurio lighting because i dont even know where the light is going to be coming from yet. i was thinking of making some of the liquid in the bottles glow as well as making the statue of the nude on the right smile as the camera panned accross smile. im starting modeling when school starts in january and i am really looking forward to actually produce real assets that are going to go into the shot. i always thought that animation was hard, but when you get to actually making it, its hard and then some. it never stops to amaze me how much work goes into a feature animated film, and how much is tossed. in the little mermaid they threw out 1.5 million drawings, in my life time i dont think i've drawn less then one percent of one percent of that many
