I just watched a special on TLC: Born a boy, brought up a girl.
It was pretty disturbing and sick shit.
At age two, these twin boys parents decided to have one of their sons testicles removed (brenda) and raise him as a girl. Throughout the years this obviously didn't work and at age 13 the parents revealed to their boys that they were actually both boys. So all goes well fo brenda, although the 'boy' twin Brian never accepted the change and developed some serious mental diseases because od it. Sad thing is, the doctor who performed the surgeries and experiments still publicized that his theory was true that you could successfully raise a boy as a girl although it obviously was not.
Unfortunetly, Brian over dosed and died, which was thought to be suicide.
Funny thing is, during a final interview with Brenda, who renamed himself David said "What is one going to have to do to get the point through that this was wrong, shoot himself in the head?"
He later killed himself by shooting himself in the head with a shotgun.
It's so sad how fucked up people are. A stupid experiment, which didn't work, caused two men to kill themselves and traumatized a family forever.

People are totally fucked. This sounds like a good Clive Barker movie, but not in real life. Some people in this world are alive but for the mere fact that it is illegal to kill them. And that law should be repealed.
