why does it seem
that every day i wake up
the middle east is getting
closer and closer
to total chaos?
makes me sad
makes me want to become a negotiator

no more of that

partied my ass off this weekend
as usual
saw a good blues show sat night
and next weekend
on saturday
there's an all day show/festival
outside of town in the country
with a bunch of kickass bands
it should rock
or at least i am hoping

why does work have to be
um
work?
i think it's the fable of our generation that it doesn't have to be
once you depend on doing something for a living
it becomes work
i'm not sure that's escapeable
maybe we should succumb to reality
and realize that what you do is often just a means of paying the bills
or is that giving up on a dream?
....
i think i'll have another drink
