Inspired by the lovely suzy_kabloozy's sermon about love, I thought I'd share a couple of things I wrote a while back.
My Dream World
In my world there is no hate and there is no fear. There is acceptance, tolerance, and respect. There is no need or hunger, instead there is generousity and compassion. There are no classes or social segregations, there is only unity, humility and brotherhood.
In my world there is love.
In My Life
Through each moment of my life I live as a part of this world, not one who struggles against it. I enjoy beauty and tranquility, I appreciate peace, brotherhood and unity. I feel compassion for my fellow man and understand pain and sorrow, loss and regret. I give of myself to those in need who have not yet found a way to help themselves. I am no better than anyone else, I am only myself. I lead a humble, simple life. My riches are my thoughts and dreams of a future where all people will love and respect each other. What is success if your achievement causes pain to even one person. I try to understand why people hate, so that I might show them love. I try to help those who would oppress another to become a better servant to their fellow man. I try to bring compassion and generousity to the hearts of the greedy. I try to bring beauty and peace to those who feel they have none in their lives. I believe that whena person can truly see the beauty in the world around them (the tranquility of nature, the passions of man, the complexities of a grain of sand) they could not begin to fight the love for the world which they are a part of.
It doesn't matter to me whether people are Christians, Muslims, Jews, Atheists, or any combination of Eastern religions or philosophies. Beliefs are personal, and really shouldn't be up for debate. All that really matters is that people treat each other and the world with Love and Respect.

I'm glad everything went well for you. My silly games would seem less satisfying if they hurt you. But they didn't, so I'm GLAD I was late to work! Feel free to make me late to work any time.
