Well, yesterday was a long day. I left here at 5 am, went up to Tacoma, spent several hours there, and didn't get back here until close to 1 am this morning. Thankfully I had a nice long phone conversation on the way back that helped keep me awake and pass the time. That was really nice.
Slow drivers in the NW...I don't get it. I know people in LA drive excessively fast. But, I've driven all over the country and into Vancouver and Toronto, and the stretch of Interstate 5 between Eugene, Or. and Seattle, Wa. is filled with slow drivers. I would say about 80% of the people are driving at or below the speed limit. Drink some coffee people, you can't drive more than a block without a coffee shop, expresso hut or something. Stay away from the decaf, you're already slow enough. If someone really could explain this to me, maybe it would make me less aggravated to drive through there.
Today's Random Silliness
A receptionist is sitting at her desk in the doctors office, when suddenly a Nun comes running out of one of the exam rooms screaming and crying. She runs straight out the front door, screaming all the way. The doctor walks out of the room and the receptionist asks, "Doctor what happened to the nun?"
To which the doctor replies "I told her she was pregnant."
The receptionist asks, puzzled, "The nun was pregnant?"
"No, but it sure got rid of her hiccups fast.", laughs the doc.
Help me! I've fallen and I can't grow up!
