If I could go back in time to when I was 13 knowing what I know now...
Id learn how to play guitar and together with my friend who was a drummer, wed start a band. Then Id steal all the good songs from the past couple of decades that wouldnt have been written yet.

I think the older I get, the less patient I become. I want what I want, and I want it now. Im really looking forward to my vacation, but its over a month away. I wanna go now.

Im weird, heres an excerpt from my brain earlier today as I was driving.
(A NOFX song comes on the radio) NOFX is cool, i wish i was in a band, i could probably play bass (having never tried, I assume that I could, even though Ive failed at every other instrument and have no musical talent) their name reminds me of INXS / i remember seeing INXS at Disneyland back in 80 or 81, i thought their name was pronounced "inks" / that was a weird night, a girl came up to me and asked me to dance with her and i said no at first because i dont like to dance, but before i could say anything else she punched me in the chest and took off / that was the night Scott (my step-brother) and i went into the small world ride and jumped out of the boat and hid in the scenes, jumping out at people as they came by - ah, the good ole days before they had cameras everywhere / there was that other time when we were getting high on / oh, crap theres my exit!
Do you have friends that are just like you? I often hear people say that theyre so alike, two peas in a pod. Ive always been the different one of my friends,I just do things my own way.
You never know just how you look through other peoples eyes.

Nope - don't have any friends that are just like me. I've always been the weird one. The majority of them are settling into the "House in suburbia/*real job*/family vehicle/2.5 kids" thing. And I'm still saying
"K...Eww" to all that.
I'm perfectly content to be "The Crazy aunt" to their kids
That Butthole Surfers song always reminds me of the time I ran into a guy I went to high school with at a party. He was one of the "jock" types...I didn't remember him until he gave me half a dozen clues, but he said my name right off the bat. He then enlightened me as to the opinion the jocks had held of me back then....I was utterly flabbergasted. Not at ALL what I might have guessed.
