bitch, complain, rant, no money
whine, sob, bitch, some more
not fair, not my fault waa, waa, waa....
I just wanted to start my journal off like so many other I see on the site, present company excepted
So many people complaining about their bad days, or feeling bad, or they're depressed or whatever. Get over it, move on people. I don't want to hear about your bad day. There's no reason to spread those bad feelings all over, that stuff's contagious.
(you've got to imagine this in a Texas accent, it's my Dr.Phil impression)
I'm not really that big of an ass, not to say I'm not an ass, because I most certainly can be. But, I was thinking about how many people's journals have all this bad stuff in them and how depressed so many people seem to get. Again, no one here, just random people out there in SG land. I think people let depression eat them up, along with fear, anger, hate, all those negative feelings. Terrible things happen to lots of people everyday, and they keep on going.
Life goes on, literally. If it doesn't then you won't need to complain. My point is no matter how bad something is in your life, it passes. Somethings take longer than others to pass, but eventually all things pass. The pain, hurt, depression, fear, hate or anger only last as long as you let them. Once you let them go, you can be happy again.
Now, I certainly do not mean that people should swallow their pain and problems, keeping them bottled up inside. Just don't dwell on the negative, it will consume your soul. (and I need those souls to trade to Satan for a trip to Australia next March)

Now, I'm off to Green Bay. Any Green Bay SGs want to keep me warm Friday night

I am, however, a moderate Packers fan
And yeah - I'm with you one the "get past it already and move on" sentiment. I learned from a now deceased friend of mine to really try not to sweat the small stuff...and even not to stress more than is necessary about the big stuff. I was whining my ass off one evening about a bunch of stuff that *I* considered to be intolerable.
He listended to me patiently until my sniveling wore out, and then said to me
"So I just got back from the doctor's. I'm at full blown AIDS status now, and he says I've managed to contract a lung infection."
Shut me RIGHT the fuck up.
I'm SO over cold weather.
