So I return to my apartment from a month or so of the mini tour I'm currently on to find that my roommate has done NOTHING. I mean NOTHING. When I left, there was a pile of dishes that needed to be cleaned (we have no dishwasher in our apartment) and I was under the impression she could take 20 minutes to wash them. She has not and it made me realize that, in the 6 months since we have moved in, she has cleaned once, purchased food once and has NEVER purchased household items (soap, detergent, trash bags, etc.). In fact, just yesterday she begged me to buy her food. No joke. Don't get me wrong, shes a pretty chill girl, but I get the feeling I wouldn't hate her so much if she acted like a grownup instead of assuming I'm going to do EVERYTHING. Those dishes that needed cleaning? They have to be thrown out because the residue on them wouldn't come off. I'm livid and can't wait till this weekend when she moves out. Note to roommates: Its disrespectful, rude and inconsiderate to not step up and do your part. Don't move in with someone and expect them to do everything. I'm not your mother
Phew! Glad I got THAT off my chest.
