This whole "no computer" thing is kind of annoying me.
I finally found a job, have a computer there, but no internet connection. Plus, I have to work 6 days a week most of the time.
As most of you know, my moving to Michigan fell through, but I hope to be moving to Long Island, New York soon. If not soon, then by next summer, at least. I love it up there.
I thought I found someone to make my heart skip a beat again. I've known him since high school and we've always gotten along wonderfully when we do get along. He's in the air force and stationed out in California right now, but he came home the week before my birthday. We were going to spend the week together and if things worked, we were going to try to make the "long distance" thing work.
I picked him up from the airport at 6am Saturday morning, went back to his house and slept till about noon. He got a call from a friend of his and they came over. He ditched me to hang out with them (and I understand, he needs to see his friends soon, but he could've at least asked me to go with him) then I didn't hear from him the rest of the week.
Apparently he got a girlfriend.
I'm starting to lose faith in love and happiness. My one shot at being with someone that truly made me happy, I lost a year ago. He may not have treated me the greatest most of the time, and he's too easily influenced by his friends (who don't like me, btw), but he did make me happy when we were actually together and I loved him for who he was.
But on the brighter side, I'm finally 21. I didn't make it past midnight on my birthday. It was terrible, but a lot of fun from what I remember.
That's pretty much all I have to update on for now. I'll try to come around more often, I just need a computer of some sort with an internet connection. Hopefully soon!!
