Happy 4th everyone!
I've been thinking about this whole gas price epidemic, Maryland is one of the 10 worst states for gas prices. The national average is like, $2.65 or something at the moment and we're paying $3 or more in some areas. Granted, I realize people in other countries have it A LOT worse, but they drive better fuel efficient cars (or don't drive at all).
I think we should trash EVERY SUV in America and start bringing in Smart Cars. Because Smart Cars are amazingly awesome. Have you ever seen one in person? They're fucking adorable. I saw one last summer in Canada when we were in Toronto.
Seriously, though, the SUV is the new mini-van, but wastes 3x more gas. Like the H2, I hated that thing. Every time I see one on the road I just make an ugly face towards them. There is absolutely no reason for that vehicle. It serves no purpose in life other than to kill someone in an accident, someone being whoever is in the car they hit.
Enough of my ranting. I've found my car and will be buying her soon. A 2001 325i, brand new engine, manual, silver with black interior. (:

well the 16th will be the day after East Coast Camping so probably not that day but any other day is fine.

Yeah, I have a '86 RX-7. The gas prices aren't really bothering me too much surprisingly. I do get pretty pissed when I see worthless SUVs around like the H2. For some reason I'm not irritated with the Porsches and BMWs I see daily.
