I HATE THIS DAMN SNOW.

a little bit is okay, but godamn. let up a little.

I was hanging out at my friend's dorm, I wasn't really planning on staying, I had no clothes or anything (and I hate feeling dirty for too long). So, around 3am I decide it's time to go home. The roads looked okay from where I was.. made it to the highway, NOTHING was plowed it seemed.

freaked out 'cause my car sucks in snow (and rain)

about 3 minutes from my house. car decides it wants to do its own thing.

for the sake of not hitting some guys truck on the side of the road, I just stop trying.

So I'm sitting there for 10-20 minutes. Frantically trying to get a hold of someone who could help me. My dad was sleeping, my boyfriend lives 40 minutes away (all highway driving), and no one else was awake or had a truck to be able to help me.

I decide to say 'fuck it' and walk home. Luckily, I didn't. I was stuck behind a truck who had literally parked JUST beyond the 'no parking' sign.

GREAT. not only am I stuck, I'm stuck in a 'no parking' area.

An SUV rolls up, stops. it's an officer.

"are you stuck?"

"...yes"

"you drive a mustang, you should've just stayed where you were"

"yea.. i know that now"

we tried to get my car to move, but it wasn't happening. so he wrote me a ticket to put on my car, telling other officers that it's okay for my car to be there until i can get it when the roads are clear tomorrow. then he drops me off at my house

cops can be so nice and helpful
