Here's a funny thing, according to many of my teachers and a few of my classmates I am a good speaker, one of my friends told me that I have[/i} to become a lawyer because I'm such a good speaker, and yet I hardly ever say anything to people, and when I speak up in classes, it's generally not the smartest thing out there? Don't you wish you could meet yourself?

Well, I use the word friend somewhat liberally.

Random factoid #34: I'm taking a Business Law class which lasts 3 hours twice a week, and I'm also taking a Mythology class which lasts 1 hour twice a week. When I signed up for the classes I was sure that Law would be horribly boring and Mythology would be fun and interesting. Somehow it didn't work out that way. Teachers make all of the difference, and I'm going to give one of my rare close friends a piece of my mind about what it is that makes a good teacher (he is almost finished with his education and will soon be a High School teacher).

As far as I can tell, the best way to teach a class is to force your students to participate! You have to call on anyone and everyone and make sure they're on their toes-a student who is paying attention to what is being said because he wants to be ready if called on is less likely to fall asleep than a student who spent an hour looking at the clock and wishing that more than two minutes had gone by.

Apparently I have more to write about than I thought, but that's an old story for me...

When I grow up... I think I'm about as grown up as I'm ever going to get... so I guess I will be one of those grab bag things that you stick your hand into and never know what you're going to pull out of it.

For after graduation, I'm applying to work in the development program in the UN... kinda like the Peace Corp, but through the UN instead of the US. I don't know that I'll get in, but that's the closest thing to a real life job I'll ever want to do.

Otherwise, I'd rather be a musician, just like everyone that doesn't say they'd rather be a visual artist. What is it about art that drives a person so crazy when you aren't able to immerse yourself into it? It's worse than a boyfriend with good moves.

Glad to see you're writing.. mas y mas!
