i don't
want
to
burn
this
out
shove this
down.
moments
like these
take talent,
restraint.
but not
too much.
how would i
know
what the
formula is?
what have i
done
that gives me
the right?
i have ideas.
i spell horribly.
i answer
to the sound
of crying
day in
and day
out.
i try to
silence it,
make it
better.
but this...

light show last night. incredible fireworks (and noise) the sky was lit, there was smoke and paper casings everywhere. the babe slept through it all. and here it is, not even the fourth. i can only hope that the proceeding nights will be a little more tame (right.) what else to say? not much. there is a kind of tension in the air, a kind...

this is
the way
i would
prefer it,
he said,
us
each
in our

corner
like in
a
boxing
match.
i
am
finally
at the
onset
of
indifference.
i am quiet,
seemingly
yielding,
to his
limited
sensibilities.
you might
call them
games,
i said
but it is
merely
weariness.
games
are for
those
with energy
or fun
about
them.

hah! my hair is gone. hello, summer. what an amazing feeling to feel the wind on one's scalp. many women don't know what they're missing. it was actually spontaneous. first one chunk gone, and then another. soon about an inch all around remained. i asked hubs what he thought about it (keeping in mind he has already seen this at other times, along with about...

No pics?

Punk died in the early 80's. Now, it can only be recreated by specially trained professionals. Or something.
y:
Shocking. I did that briefly when I was 18. I had long hair and I decided to shave my head; so I cut it as short as I could with scissors first, then shaved it. It looked pretty cool just chopped short before the shaving, so I can sort of picture what it might look like on you. You nutter. wink Pictures!

coffee and a teeth cleaning. lack of sleep, impatiance. no tenderness. i am sorry, my son. my limit has almost been reached. i am sick of your tugging. i am sick of your whining. i try so hard. thankless, not exactly. i do what i can to get through it.
y:
And i'm sure you will continue to do so.

I'm glad you like the po-yums.

but
that
story
was not
true.
the moon
did it
or the lady.
she drew
me out,
pulled
on
my
blood.
it was like
water
going
down
the
drain.
i came
with it,
(had to)
think of a
tree,
or the sky.
i am
taken
for
granted
and
my
beauty
dismissed,
because
it is
expected
(the sun rising)
(or
the moon
the moon)
it is...

Good that you are getting out of there.

Are you collecting all of this writing for an eventual book?

easy before..

yes.
take your youth,
play with it.
it goes.
dance out
in the rain.
and he was dumb
to think
i still could
now
my eyes
have lost
their sweetness.
the empty wine
bottle
on the porch
reminded me
of
the beauty
i was and
always
could be
he says
but you can do
that now

Fascinating Cat facts. I had no idea she'd been going so long. I'm only just getting into her - I've only heard two songs: 'Fool', and 'Werewolf'. 'Fool' gets stuck in my head a lot these days. I was watching one of her videos the other day, directed by Harmony Korine, and thus surreal as fuck.

On the subject of my dream-deja vu theory - I've been wanting to read this book for about nine years now. I should really make an effort.

A page of Vervain comments would be psychedelic.

have i lived my future already? what the hell is deja vu? walking in warwick up a hill with my son in a stroller and i feel like i have already lived that very moment in my distant past. i have experienced these moments (as everyone else) throughout my lifetime. each time i am floored. i'm sure there is a scientific explanation for this somewhere,...

Do you have nightmares about elephants falling through your ceiling and crushing you? biggrin

Deja vu is when something happens in reality that we once dreamt about. My theory.
y:
That's what I meant - we dream the future; even mundane things; but years in advance, so that when the reality finally comes we only have the most vague sense possible of having experienced it before.
