tonight is sad and tired i have nothing to say. the system has shut down, so, goodnight.

what to say, what to do. the feeling gets so strong, there is nothing to say, nothing to do.

the idea of a mother whale getting killed with her calf, the only item they found in the little one's belly being his mother's milk, feels like a knife in my heart. (i don't know about this book i'm reading) i have been plunged into depression once again for the sick things humans do. it makes me so sad.

waiting here
on the step
like
a teenager
for a ride
only
it is
what is
taken away from me
that delivers
me
to someplace
better.
so,
peace,
quiet,
and
no tantrums
except my own.
it can't come
soon enough
(these
minutes disguised
as hours)

Well, I would say it does give you catharsis. Catharsis and objectivity. Pleasure maybe. Distraction possibly. Maybe a clearer sense of who you are.

And so on. ooo aaa

made a compilation of music. it is good. boy, is it good.

you are not
a good time.
you are no
sigh
of relief,
but a burn.
salt
in the wound.
a loud noise
to extinguish
my silence,
any peace
i bring around
myself.
the question
is not
if we should go
how we can
prolong
this entrapment
it is
when can we
take this
persistant weed
down
tear
this one
out
by
the
roots.
y:
Thank you very much. And I'm glad you like the drawing.

You and yours are well, I trust? (Or well-ish, judging by the poem wink ) Does your poetry give you catharsis?

i'm glad my letter helped you out. some corporations think that because they're big they can walk all over their customers!!! we have to show them that this is not the case!!!

enter that wilderness. nothing had moved and the ground was quiet. the sound of a knife cutting the wind is heard, one evidently thrown through the air, there was a casualty, or two. i thought, this isn't the first time you said too much. the future hangs like something gratituous or bloated, a far out alien caccoon contianing those things needed to contiue life. a...

what is it that brings them to?
what world is more fasinating,
what face is a better face to wear?
i shrunk back to the stench of the pond.
i fell out of that world...

Thanks sooo much for your loverly comments smile
I used to use the same line seperations when I was a more active writer in high school and I always used to catch shit for it-good to see someone else does too!!!
I co-slept with my son until he was almost 3 months old and then started gradually breaking him into his own bed-via a cradle in my room, and while there is hardly a more beautiful thing than waking up to a smiling babe, I needed some goddamn sleep!!!!!! ARRR!!!
I imagine you have but if you have not read mamaphonic-ayun is in there

the conversation died. he just couldn't keep his eyes open. i didn't have any toothpicks on hand so i let them fall, in the meanwhile...the clock, it keeps going, and, to be expected, it is now later. so i still have not gotten into bed, which, to my mind, is not really a nice place anyway. it only hints at sleep. i am never allowed...

Thanks for that - you obviously understood what I was driving at, and I appreciate it.

I was reading your profile and, funnily enough, "to beat the band" is a favourite expression of my Grandmothers - "It was snowing - to beat the band it was snowing!" biggrin

Vervain is a favourite plant of mine. I garden with wild/native plants, exclusively. Unfortunately our climate doesn't really suit Vervain frown

Having a bit of staff trouble in your latest poem? You just can't get the help these days wink
