The music business is a cruel and shallow money trench, a long plastic hallway where thieves and pimps run free, and good men die like dogs. There's also a negative side.

I had a really interesting thing to say here, but then I just got a letter stating that I'm being sued for about five grand. It's hysterical, I mean it, I'm lauhing out loud, not out of some gallows humor attempt to avoid panic or fear, just honest, good laughter. The notice says at the top in all caps in big, black print.

Like I won a prize or something. Fuck, this makes my whole day.

I have a hard time trying to think positively about such a negative industry. Shows like American/Australian Idol make me want to cry. I wish it would all just go away.

Why can't they just let the good people make good music and leave the business out of it?
