Holy crap, someone just hired me to work somewhere. I start Monday.
And this ends a strange trip of unemployment. The last time I was unemployed, I didn't find work for 2 and a half years. This time, I was only able to relax for 10 weeks. Strange how things can work out sometimes.
I know it is normal in this situation to feel tense, but I'm not tense for the normal reasons. It's a small office, so I don't have to meet too many people. My biggest issue is the commute. I don't like driving, and this area is nothing but traffic and assholes. Gotta get used to it, though.
This oughta ruin my weekend. I am absolutely one of those people who disappears into their own head and only thinks about negative outcomes for scenarios. Sigh.
