So, on Christmas Eve all of the family met at brother's house (during our WA trip) to partake in an elephant gift exchange (we brought a "Rather be hunting" Christmas ornament and a create a commie magnet thingy), an exchange of other gifts and to eat some super yummy food. Picture this: me, super cute, just sitting there. Damien, super hot, wearing a suave, Christmas sweater. It was Damien's turn to pick his elephant gift, he puts his camera down on the giftsand then gets down on his kneeand tells me that all he wants is to have me in his lifeforever

I'M ENGAGED!

I cried, and yes, the ugly cry was present for a second or two.

Unfortunately, I am not in my typical, genius, poetic mood and do not know exactly how to get my words out in this blog. But I am happy. No, I am HAPPY! I want to scream it from a mountain! A large, grassy-like mountain! W/shiny, cherry blossom trees and fat birds! Damien, he has a heart of gold, makes me laugh (even when I don't want to), loves my family, stands by his word, is loving, takes care of me, loves me, drives all the way back KFC to return my order that they f-ed up (even though I told him that we didn't have tohe insisted), tickles me, even though I hate it, is supportive, has an amazing bum, has things that he believes in (that he will fight tooth and nail for), is spectacular at Jeopardy and loves me.

I'm planning a wedding? Holy !
