ah, piece work -- a boon right now because i'm unemployed... a boon the rest of the time because i can use the extra scratch to buy stuff i otherwise couldn't afford ;-)

the particular piece work in this case is for a court reporting firm with whom i have a long association and friendship

maybe while i'm there the offer will come in for the pee gone job and i'll get an opportunity to spend the piece work money on something more fun than groceries
