So I am having a mid-college crisis. I am so glad that my friends are here for me! The council of those who know you well is invaluable! Now how to convince mum and daddy to be ok when I take a semester off. I have been doing serious thinking about this, and it is what I need. I don't understand why my parents can't just trust me. I know this is not going to go down easily...

I don't know what being a Psychology major is like, but I can tell you what being a History major is like. I have a paper due friday. The subject is English Imperialism in the late 1800 early 1900. I have to draw in concepts from the French Revolution, the Enlightenment Era, and the Industrial Revolution. Also I have to include footnotes.. Call me naive, if you like but, I don't even know what a footnote is!!

I miss the good old days, in highschool, when you got to pick one person from history and write about him or her from an encylopedia and we didn't need to credit our source.
