My glasses are smudged but the pre-holiday cleaning binge is complete. Finally fixed this stupid thing with my credit card company and balanced the checkbook. Re-organized my crap and I am feeling content. I must go run some errands,

I am sort of sad that an old friend flaked on me, but I should know to expect that by now. He and his brother are so similar. Chris is going to be stationed in Japan. I miss him a lot already.

I was surprised when I went home. Spending time with my family is so nice these days. I laugh at my sister's yelling and my father's pop culture references. My mother is the cutest ever, and the dog is just a wackjob. My sister's boyfriend is like the brother I never had. Maybe one day he will really be my brother. Our family vacation in January will be a blast. I forgot how nice it was to be at home.

I am finishing making final plans for when GoatsGoToHell (Jason) comes next week. I am simply incredulous that these four months have passed so quickly. My family and friends are eager to meet him, and I am on pins and needles. My only Christmas wish...
