I think Im going to go to Perversion tonight although I feel like ass. Not sure why I am sick but whatever. Im pretty sure it isnt the rain.

when i was 15, i had someone tell me the weather effected my mood. it annoyed the hell out of me and i didnt believe him. BUT. i believe it now. when it's bright and sunny, i'm happy and wide awake, ready to go. but this cloudy, nasty weather just makes me want to stay under the covers.

Most definitely man! I got myself into a little situation so I'm car-less for a little bit, but that shouldn't be an issue. I'll definitely hit you up soon for some lunch or a drink at a bar. I'm sorry to hear that you haven't had a good time lately, especially with the rain keeping most of us in last week. I hope you feel better and that the depression goes away when you go out tonight.
Past few nights have been fun. Went to Das Bunker and the Ruby. Das Bunker has been the best club Ive been to so far and I think I shall return. Last night a member from BME did a little suspension thing at her apt over by melrose which was fun. Good chance to meet some people from here and it was a very relaxing...

I got spoiled on cheap SF Chinese food.
I think there is a lot of weird hipster food like bacon-wrapped pecan muffins if you're into it.

Do you guys have Jack in the Box on the East Coast? It's also pretty amazing.
What do I do? I guess I slave at minimum wage jobs and make plans for not sucking in the future, and skateboard with my dog, and make crafty things to mail to my friends that live far away, and cook veggie food. I think that's it. What do you do?

So day 2 in LA was pretty fun. Hung out with Issue for a bit. Got my knuckles touched up.. Had some good lunch and have just been sitting around my empty apt for the passed few hours. Wishing there was something fun to do tonight but I dont think there will be anything going. Need to go get beer but feeling quite lazy right...

This is the ramen place in Little Tokyo I was talking about last night: Daikokuya
Some friends and I are planning on this dim sum tour sometime in the future, don't know when exactly but it's looking like March. It's a little pricey but if you just want to get dim sum without the tour guide, I really like CBS Seafood Restaurant in Chinatown because it's cheap and close.
If you want Chinese food made by Chinese people though, the San Gabriel Valley is much better. You should try places in Alhambra, San Gabriel, and Monterey Park. Unfortunately I don't know the English names of any of the restaurants my family takes me to so I can't make any recommendations via the web, haha.
And if you're just interested in food in general, there has been a new food truck craze in LA right now. Most of them drive around LA county and post their whereabouts via Twitter but you can also look them up here: http://www.clustertruck.org/trucks
