last night wheni was i was over at sweeney's, he was out to dinner with his dad and i'm laying on the couch watching tv. all of a sudden this thing flies from under the door and across the room. i thought it was a bird at first and then it went into the corner and i saw it's wings. it was a fucking bat! i hid under my blanket, blinked a couple times and looked out again and it was just flying back and forth across the room. i didn't know what to do so i hid under my blanket again, totally freaking out! i was used to all the bugs and gnats, even a weird maget incident in his apartment, but this was crazy. i grabbed my cigarettes and phone and hid in sweeney's room and called him. he called the landlord and a maintenance guy was on his way, so i peeked out again to clean up some incriminating evidence and i didn't see it. i felt like i was in a scary movie slowly moving through the rooms looking around and up at the ceiling. it was gone. my next thought was that i am hallucinating. then, the maintenence guy came and we searched everywhere and it was gone. just as soon as he left i sat down on the couch to call sweeney again and as we were talking he asked how it got in there. just as i said, it had to have crawled under the door, IT STARTED TO CRAWL UNDER THE DOOR! it's was the weirdest, scariest fucking thing i've ever seen. it looked like a rat with wings squirming under the door, peaking in and out. i screamed and hid back in his bedroom. it must have not come in because by the time he got back and met the landlady, it was no where to be found. the apartment next to his is empty and being remodled so we went in there next. there is two huge holes under the window and even a bird's nest by the window, so we think it got in there and there is a hole in the front door where the dead-bolt should be, so it probably got out through there. i just realized how elaborately i wrote about the hour that's one of the most fucked up, scary experiences i've ever had. now, i find it entertaining and wish i had caught it. the end
