i got a new computer!!! i probably won't have time to set it up before this weekend, but at least it is here in all of its probably outdated already glory. we are also switching over to cable modem and telephone, so i am a little nervous about getting everything set up right. but wahoo for new toys!

i have to buy a new computer, and i really don't want to. well, i want the computer, but i hate having to compare all of the different types, and of course, i hate paying for it. any suggestions fora good computer in the 900-1200 dollar range?
