thanks to everyone who sent me well wishes last week. it really meant a lot. two hurricanes and a mugging are starting to make me crazy (well, crazier). mom is comeing into town on sunday-i could use some mothering right now, so i am pretty excited. and starbucks is handleing my safety complaints seriously, so that makes me feel a bit better. it looks like i am going to be here for at least another year while the boy works his way up-i hope i can make it.

in happier news, i am secretly in love with a girl who was in management training at my store. she and her girlfriend took me out and got me wasted after i got held up-very cool of them.
