i know the feeling. i shouldn't be. i have so many things that i could do and feel good about. but i'd rather just sit and stew.
i hate being so depressed that i screw up opportunities that i have. it is just so hard to shake. i'm hopeing that grendel's honey will have some sort of magic effect, and make everything better.

i have things in life that make me happy. yet, there is this core of depression that sneaks up on me.
crushes my motivation, makes me do silly things that i know i shouldnt. turns me into a slacker...
its just a matter of how much i can control it.
friends used to say that you should just ignore it but thats not the way to deal with it...
so what i do now is recognize that it is there, but make myself think positive anyways.....
think of something that really trully makes you happy...something that is calming...invision it in your head or surround yourself with it.
embrace it.....
hope that helps...and doesnt sound too dorky.

i just got back from the DAs office, and we decided to prosecute the kid that mugged me as an adult. i was not pleased with my options: we could either have him prosecuted as a juvenile, where he would have gotten probation and no jail time, or as an adult, where the penalties are 15-104 years in angola. i wanted something more like 3-5...

i know im a lil behind on this but i have to say. angola aint nothin nice. my brother spent more then enough time there. im a lil more harsh on criminnals but 15-104 years in that place is inhumane. say 5-10 would be more then enough. and i agree with the education and counseling too.
