We found an apartment! It's a little run down, and not in the greatest of neighborhoods, but it's got character.... I like it. With my eye for design and art we'll have the place looking great in no time. It's down by my favorite witchy shop on Colfax... I live like two blocks from it. Woohoo! Since the place was a dump when we went to see the apartment the guy gave us a discount.. $400 a month and utilities are included except for electric and phone. He even offered to pay us under the table, or give us a discount on rent if we wanted to help show the apartments from time to time, or help renovate once in a while.
We'll be a little tight on money for the first few months, but that's okay... we'll have our own place and it'll be nice. We need furnature and a bed too... A buddy I work with is giving us a desk that I can use for my sewing.. that'll be cool. Chris works the Bronco games doing security, and apparently they are advertising that beer venders can make 200-300 dollars a game just walking around selling brew. We're going to look into doing that! If we can get that gig one Sunday a month, we'll have rent covered... one day... pays rent... FABULOUS! *crosses fingers*
We're going to get a dog soon too after we move in... I want a pug.. *sniffles* Story's pug is so cute! We're going to go to the pound/humane society and find a dog there... probably a mutt or something. Doesn't matter. We want a poochy, and they need a good home, so that's the route we're going to go.
Chris isn't going back to Ohio anymore either... his ex is moving to San Roble California or something like that for her work instead of training in India... they'll be a little closer so he can see his son more often i'm sure.
Things are in motion... finally.... so it might be a short while before I update again. I'll try though ^_^
