The violin sways my heart
as I pause only a moment
it's sad song stringing apart
a soul that knows no consolement.

Again I walk on
lost in the rhyme
drifting like the song
that is lost in time.

The nights whisper calls out
pulling at my soul to fly free
darkness swallows my shout
as the shadows trail behind me.
